The Hoka Clifton 9 Wide is the wide fit version of HOKA'S signature everyday road running and walking shoe for the women's Clifton 9 series. The ninth iteration of the award-winning Clifton franchise is lighter and more cushioned than its predecessor. By shedding weight while adding 3mm in stack height, the Clifton 9 delivers an incredibly plush, revitalised underfoot experience. It is engineered primarily for everyday road running, fitness walking, and daily training, making it popular for those seeking maximum impact protection and joint relief.

Design Highlights:

Wide Fit (D Width): Specifically designed with extra volume in the upper and a roomier toe box to comfortably accommodate wider foot profiles or individuals needing arch-area relief. 

Revitalised Cushioning: Features a new compression-moulded EVA (CMEVA) foam midsole that is more responsive, flexible, and softer than previous versions. 

Early-Stage MetaRocker™: HOKA's signature curved sole geometry encourages a smooth, rolling transition from heel-strike to toe-off with less structural effort. 

Consciously Crafted Upper: A stripped-back, breathable engineered knit upper that completely removes heavy overlays and hotmelts. It incorporates recycled polyester and nylon elements. 

Plush Lockdown: Features a streamlined, single-sided medial gusseted tongue to prevent shifting, alongside an asymmetrical, plusher heel collar for a secure and comfortable ankle fit.

Geometry: Retains a 5 mm heel-to-toe drop (29 mm heel / 24 mm forefoot for the women's model). 

Weight: Incredibly lightweight at approximately 205 grams (7.3 oz) for a standard women's size. 

Outsole: Uses strategically placed durabrasion carbon rubber in high-wear zones to extend traction and outsole longevity on urban asphalt and pavements.

Fit and Sizing: The fit is true to size. The Wide (2E) version is highly recommended for those who find standard HOKA models too narrow.
