 A highly sought-after, limited-edition lifestyle collaboration between Boston-based retailer concepts (CNCPTS and New Balance. Released in March 2025, this trainer builds upon the late-90s Y2K running aesthetic of the revived New Balance 1000 silhouette.

Design Highlights:

The "Grand Watermelon" Inspiration: Continuing their signature "currency" collaboration theme, Concepts designed this model around the incredibly rare late-19th-century $1,000 USD banknote. 

Colourway Palette: Features a Meadow Mist / Pine Grove tonal green base layer, beautifully contrasted by vibrant hot pink accents on the lace loops, tongue branding, and outsole—a nod to the banknote's historic Treasury Seal.

Irish Heritage Tribute: The word "Míle" translates to "thousand" in Gaelic. Launched around St. Patrick's Day, the name celebrates the classic Irish phrase "Céad Míle Fáilte" (A hundred thousand welcomes)

Inverted Construction: Unlike traditional mesh running shoes, this model features thick premium leather and calf suede overlay panels that weave on top of flexible green mesh underlays. 

Custom Co-Branding: Features a custom 3D screen-printed "CNCPTS" logo on the heel, a co-branded woven tongue tag, a rubberised "N" side logo, and a custom branded currency sockliner. 

ABZORB Midsole: Uses a sculpted polyurethane midsole containing full-length ABZORB cushioning units in both the forefoot and the heel for exceptional everyday shock absorption.

Stability Web: Features an engineered thermoplastic Stability Web midfoot shank beneath the arch to control torsional flexing and ensure structured midfoot support
