The JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 Made in USA "Olive"  a highly coveted collaboration that debuted in February 2022. Designed by Justin Saunders, it is the second 990v3 project between the Montreal-based studio and New Balance, following their 2018 release. This iteration is celebrated for its minimalist, "Tonal" aesthetic that emphasizes premium materials over loud branding.

Design Highlights:

Tonal Palette: A rich, earthy olive green permeates the entire upper, utilizing a nuanced textural range of breathable mesh and pigskin suede overlays.

Contrast Details:

Black: Featured on the signature "N" logos on the side panels and the interior lining.

Silver/Grey: Reflective silver hits appear on the eyelets, tongue, and heel tab for a subtle technical touch.

JJJJound Branding: In line with the studio's minimalist ethos, branding is sparse, appearing only on the reflective silver heel tab and the custom-printed insoles.

Sole Unit: The sneaker features a two-tone cream and white ENCAP midsole, providing a vintage, "aged" look that complements the olive upper.

ENCAP Midsole: Incorporates a plush EVA foam core encapsulated within a supportive and durable polyurethane rim for all-day comfort and stability.

Outsole: A standard black rubber outsole provides durable traction.
