The Nike Cortez DR1413-200 is an official collaboration between nike and the iconic Los angeles streetwear retailer Union LA. Released in June 2022 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the classic 1972 running silhouette, this model is commonly known as the "Sesame" or "Grain" colourway. It reimagines the vintage sneaker as a tribute to the cultural diversity and style legacy of Los Angeles.

Design Highlights:

Multi-Layered Upper: Features a bold patchwork design combining striped, yarn-dyed woven textile underlays with thick, premium suede overlays. 

Colourway: Blends a dominant neutral tan "Sesame/Grain" with vibrant hits of Pink Clay, Dutch Green, Bicycle Yellow, and Blustery blue.

Deconstructed Elements: Built with two-tone rope laces, distinct canvas eye-stay patches, and exposed stitching for a rugged, contemporary aesthetic. 

Co-Branded Details: Embellished with a yellow "UN/LA" tab near the forefoot and Union's signature "Frontman" logo on the flip-up heel tabs and cork insoles.

Crater Foam Midsole: Packed with speckled, sponge-soft Crater Foam that delivers lightweight cushioning and updated underfoot comfort.

Nike Grind Outsole: Constructed using at least 10% recycled Nike Grind rubber, featuring a classic herringbone tread pattern for slip-resistant grip.

Supportive Build: Finished with a padded collar around the ankle and a protective rubberised toe bumper to enhance longevity.
